Medtronic Interventional Vascular & Structural Heart (IV&SH) provides interventional devices to treat coronary arteries that are blocked by atherosclerotic plaque and devices and therapies to treat structural defects of the heart. 

We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Shipping / Receiving  / Stores Clerk II  to support our manufacturing operations located in Danvers, MA.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk II is responsible for ensuring timely receipt and shipment of patient-facing products and supplies, and processing product returns for repair. This role contributes to the Medtronic mission by assisting teams in providing patients with products to help them manage pain.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
  • Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting (job is 75% Systems and 25% Physical)
  • Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
  • (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
  • Lift and carry boxes, bags and tubs of comopounds weighing up to 70-pounds 
  • Push inventory carts carrying up to or exceeding 70-pounds of items, and objects
  • Operate a Forklift and Box Truck in and between buildings on Medtronic Campus.
  • Daily use of material handling equipment - forklifts and pallet jacks.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent education

Nice to Have

  • Driver's License and comfortable driving a box truck
  • Previous Warehouse experience.
  • Experience working in a Cleanroom or Laboratory work environment
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience
  • Previous Medical Device Experience
  • Previous Experience working with Medtronic
  • Experience with ERP / Inventory Systems.
  • Previous experience shipping and receiving medical devices
  • Experience shipping hazardous materials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sense of motivation and teamwork
