A Day in the Life

This position has the responsibility and authority to develop and perform test automation verification & validation activities for software and systems to ensure products meet our user’s needs and our quality and reliability standards.  This position requires application of technical expertise to independently determine and develop approaches to solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and creativity. 
 
Key Responsibilities & Authorities:
  • Analysis of test results and regression (include statuses and reports)
  • Investigate and debugging
  • Create project specific test strategies and approaches.
  • Designing, developing, testing, maintaining and documenting/validating software testing components and applications.
  • Prepare an optimal test plan for each project, including specification of test tools and test criteria
  • Analyze automation needs and design the framework to support future needs
  • Develop the test environment and sets up regression and integration tests, as well as verification and acceptance tests.
  • Execute the tests and analyze results
  • Comply and align with software development standards within the team (processes and methodologies, quality of requirements, design, coding and testing)
  • Work with Development groups to identify and resolve problems
  • Developing performance tests
  • Seek out expertise, knowledge, and resources to develop solutions to problems

Must Have:
  • B.A. / B.SC. In SW Engineering \computer science or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks\tools
  • Experience in testing tools development (design, implementation, debugging).
  • Experience with test automation including GUI, integration, reliability and designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Proficient in scripting and/or programming in python, C#/C++ or similar languages
  • Self-driven, independent and self-learning skills
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • English & Hebrew skills.
  • Ability to integrate into a team and ability to also work independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and drive to learn
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Results driven and ability to see & understand the big picture
 
 
 
Nice to have
  • Software development or testing experience in the medical industry or other regulated industry.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of modern, iterative software design processes and development practices.
