Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships and Programs, in this exciting strategic leadership position, the Sr. Corporate Accounts Manager, Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions (Acute Care) will lead the PM and RI Operating Unit’s Corporate Contracting initiatives by leveraging their expertise in the PM and OU markets segments, products, and strategies.  Seen as an expert in the field, the Sr. Corporate Accounts Manager will provide strategic direction regarding contracting efforts on behalf of the PM and RI Operating Units.

They will collaborate with the PM and RI Operating Units and America’s Region, US Enterprise Contracting teams to create, communicate and implement successful growth strategies involving their assigned GPOs, IDNs, RPCs and other corporate partners.  This position requires significant interaction and collaboration with various internal cross functional teams and requires excellence in consensus building with internal constituents and leadership without traditional direct personnel responsibility.

This leader will drive the efforts to ensure desired contract positions are secured and aimed at achieving the OU objectives of customer satisfaction, market share growth, new product adoption as well as revenue and margins targets.  They will focus on enhancing relationships with executives and decision-makers within their identified corporate customers. Their relationships include but are not limited to, GPO partners and C-Level, VP and Director level call points at assigned accounts.

This is a remote based role; the candidate can live anywhere in the US.

A Day in the Life

  • Develops and drives OU portfolio contracting management strategies to secure successful contractual outcomes including:
    • Expanding and protecting market share
    • Enhancing margins and driving incremental revenue
    • Optimizing pricing strategy
    • Customer retention
    • New product adoption
    • Improved portfolio mix
    • Co-promotion of strategic programs
    • Building long-term agreements and relationships corporate customers and partners
    • Leads OU based contracting and negotiation efforts with assigned GPOs, strategic IDN’s and other corporate partners.
  • Understands assigned customers strategic priorities and executing successful customer strategy. 
  • Develops, communicates, and implements comprehensive business plans to achieve business results.
  • Develops and maintains Senior/C-Suite level strategic partners and collaborates with them to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Set strategies, build internal consensus, agree on roles and responsibilities, and tactically execute at each account.
  • Manages with vision and purpose by clearly and consistently communicating the PM and RI portfolio message and business proposition to both customers and internal constituents. Mastery level delivery of portfolio and value propositions directly to Executive level decision makers at key strategic accounts.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of strategic selling experience in the acute care hospital environment or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.

  • Track record of leading and driving results in complex cross-functional engagements
  • Expert level knowledge of the PM and RI product portfolios, market segments and business strategies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently
  • Depth of commercial experience across multiple Business Units
  • In-depth knowledge of the field sales organization, structure, processes and culture
  • Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership/coaching skills
  • Self-motivator who can apply innovative thinking to define solutions to business problems; solution oriented
  • High capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid planning and organizational skills and ability to operate independently
  • Exceptional client interaction and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain an ethical mindset and conduct business with integrity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
