In this exciting role you will support the primary business partners and financial leaders in the Diabetes Group in creating and implementing a new Integrated Business Planning process.  

An Integrated Business Planning process is a comprehensive process - driven by senior leadership across multiple key functions in the organization - that over a rolling 24 month period carefully evaluates demand, supply, product phase-ins and phase-outs, strategic projects, and ultimately the impact on financial plans. You will provide data driven insights that help enable the organization to achieve the necessary alignment needed to execute successfully on Integrated Business Planning. You will also perform monthly and quarterly accounting activities to ensure timely recognition and forecasting of financial impact.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Partner with business leaders to ensure that they understand the financial implications of a robust IBP process
• Analyze actual vs. forecast performance for all the key metrics associated with effective IBP, with an emphasis on understanding and communicating any risk to the key leaders
• Communicate expected and actual financial results and the activities underlying those results clearly and concisely 
• Provide insights to business partners to achieve financial objectives and business partner Goals & Objectives (G&Os)
• Identify, analyze, communicate and provide suggested solutions to resolve financial issues which impact business objectives
• Leverage information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness of IBP
• Lead financial reviews and provide analytics and insights reporting
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (2+ years with an Advanced degree)

Nice to Have

• Experience in analysis and reporting (e.g., forecasting / budgeting / strategic planning & process)
• Project management and business partnering experience
• Experience creating written and oral presentations to senior leaders
• Expert in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, including experience in excel with lookups and Pivots
• Experience creating financial models
• Experience in medical device/healthcare industry (e.g., practices, techniques and standards)
• Experience with marketing, finance and/or business operations
