For this role you will be expected to be located in any of the following locations: Warsaw/Prague/Bratislava/Budapest/Bucharest/Zagreb.

A Day in the Life

The main purpose of the role is to drive execution of pricing initiatives in RTG unit in Central and Eastern Europe and to implement regional pricing foundation, defined by the region with appropriate processes and KPI’s.


Key responsibilities of your role will be:

  • Support tools, processes and metrics standardization across the different markets within each sub-region, while ensuring sustainability and best in class service.
  • Create local pricing structure and culture.
  • Drive country account and price segmentation, including building customer specific price lists based on the regional target and floor prices and, driving adaptive strategies based on go-to market strategy, reimbursement, market dynamics and competitive environment.
  • Partner and support the Sub-Regional leadership and commercial teams, become partner of the negotiation team for major tenders and big deals, work with the team to make the final pricing decisions.
  • Governance process local owner, including preparation of the business cases for pricing committee approval.
  • Use regionally and globally generated reporting to engage with BU’s to drive optimal pricing behaviours.
  • Gather and analyze competitive moves, suggests and implements local strategies.
Must Haves and Nice to Haves:
Must haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Successful 5+ years of relevant experience in: pricing strategy / finance / reimbursement / marketing or sales management.
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • Fluent English required, additional local languages are an advantage.
  • Business partnership and process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate analytics into meaningful messages for stakeholders.
  • Problem solving, solution finding and decision making oriented.
  • Ability to master navigating through a complex matrix environment with multi-cultural and multi-functional components.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to drive adoption of new practices and influence decision making.
  • Entrepreneurial / proactive approach, team player.
  • Occasional travel required, up to 10%. 
Nice to haves:
  • Medical devices / healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and industry practices in the Central and Eastern Europe, with proven track record on successful execution.
  • Previous Vendavo and SAP experience is a plus.
