As an important member of the Customer Care Supply Chain team the Senior Supply Chain Analyst (SSCA) will work with Medtronic Business Unit partners to support and execute business inventory goals. You act as the Customer Care liaison for inventory initiatives interacting with multiple internal business partners in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, and others to achieve shared goals. You will collaborate cross functionally to design, implement, and track efforts to drive field engagement around inventory goals including ending field inventory and product phase in/phase out efforts. SSCAs assist in managing and communicating the inventory allocation strategies and product gating as needed.

Senior Supply Chain Analysts gain broad knowledge of SAP and Medtronic processes while providing regionalized support for specific therapies. To be successful in this role, you are a pro-active team player with a distinct drive for execution and results, can communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and work with a high sense of urgency and responsibility for role and team. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires you to bring your best problem-solving skills to work each day, along with your positive, can-do attitude.

A Day in the Life

  • Engages with cross functional business partners to initiate, develop, and execute inventory and distribution management strategies
  • Communicates strategies to Customer Care organization and provides direction to accomplish task
  • Leverages data to analyze trends and key performance metrics.
  • Educates cross functional business partners on most effective process to achieve business goal driving efficiencies over manual touches within the organization
  • Participates in or facilitates cross functional projects to drive efficiencies throughout organization
  • Reconciles field cycle counts in accordance with regulatory requirements, Medtronic corporate policies, and BU Finance needs, including communication, escalation, research, inventory adjustments, and inquiries
  • Supports field inventory retrievals in partnership with the field as necessary

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven Customer Service or Supply Chain experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

  • Composed; ability to execute work logically in high pressure situations with a positive and professional demeanor
  • Strong communicator; clear and effective written and verbal
  • Skilled at computer navigation; enjoy working in multiple applications simultaneously
  • Proven ability to produce consistent, detail oriented, high quality work
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • SAP ERP experience
