MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

This person will be in charge of developing and controlling inventories in Brazilian operations – both consigned and in DC ones. The goal is to improve process maturity, develop and implemente business controls and deliver economic efficiency analysis, aligning outcomes to Business Excellence efforts.

 

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead inventory staff (former field inventory team) to develop and deliver better processes, reports and controls.
  • Implement governance model, procedures and work instructions across functional areas such as Customer Care, Finance, Planning and Logistics, in order to deliver higher standards on process execution and control.
  • Develop reports and operational interactions with Finance, QA/RA, BU´s and Supply Chain leadership to drive continuous improvement processes, mainly in Consigned Inventories function. Register and address issues and Corrective / Preventive actions as MDT policies standards.
  • Develop deep analysis on inventory levels and business results – inventory efficiency, incidents, cost to serve and cost to keep
  • This position requires extensive domestic travel (50% minimum) and a two offices focus – São Paulo and Osasco.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years minimum experience, preferably in Healthcare environment, controlling, finance and/or supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience with process modelling and controls
  • Demonstrated experience in complex matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex problems through analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detailed oriented.
  • Strong ability to negotiate within different workstreams and functions.
  • Intermediate English spoken / Spanish desirable for Regional forums and reports.
 
 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Green Belt trained or equivalent
  • Proven track record of influence management within a matrix environment
  • Inventory control knowledge – counting, adjusting, reporting.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
