SUMMARY OF POSITION:
To ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and plant inventory stock levels targets to ensure operational and production continuity. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet supply chain requirements. Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials and finished goods meets requirements. Work under general supervision, reviewed by Management. Decisions and results have an impact on the function and their success. Performance affects the function’s image and financials performances

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
• Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
• Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Economics; preferred Masters in Engineering or Business Management

Experience:
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience of materials planning ideally in the automotive or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a multinational company
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies
• Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge and experience of using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar (SAP knowledge would be preferential)
• Strong command of English
