The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.  SURGICAL INNOVATIONS sets the standard for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) by creating innovative surgical products and services that focus on obesity and diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, abdominal wall, pelvic region, and the head and neck.

A Day in the Life

As the Sr. Supply Chain Planner you will coordinate production plans and the manage supply chain functions required to achieve objectives for service, inventory management, and operating goals. 

You will:

Coordinate and communicate with plant to develop production plans while balancing capacities and material availability.
Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams on supply chain issues and initiatives.
Facilitate communications between regional supply chain groups, demand planning, shared services, manufacturing and marketing. 
Lead and coordinate supply chain performance review meetings.
Manage the process of net requirements generation, ensuring multi system accuracy.  
Identify and participate in the resolution of issues by employing strong analytical and planning skills.
Drive operation metrics such net requirements, inventory targets and projections.
Manage inventory to maximize service and minimize investment.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

You must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  
Nice to Have:

Two + years demonstrated experience in the supply change field.
Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing and transportation.
Rigorous math and/or analytical skills demonstrated through educational or professional background.
Experience using current Supply Chain applications and systems. Manugistics and JD Edwards Enterprise One experience a plus.
Experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite of products, including intermediate Excel skills.
