  • Operate as part of the Medtronic HR Shared Services team, providing administrative, project, operational and data support for a pre-defined region.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead(s) in a pre-defined region, providing accurate consistent and timely support on operational and transactional based Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Promote and champion the use of HR Operating tools, including but not limited to, Taleo, Workday, and other internal online HR tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement operational activities by working closely with regional and country Talent Acquisition Leads, HR Shared Services, and other HR Centre of Expertise.

A Day in the life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Manage the end to end purchase order and invoice process for all Talent Acquisition vendors; liaise with vendors, Talent Acquisition Lead(s) and Finance to resolve and follow up on issues
  • Manage candidate pre-employment and background screening checks; follow up with candidates and vendors regarding outstanding checks; liaise with Talent Acquisition Lead(s) with respect checks that require further certification
  • Manage Talent Acquisition activities relating to Cross Border Hire Transfers; follow up with candidates, HR Shared Services and Global Mobility team to ensure a seamless cross border hire transfer process
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead(s) on Early Career hiring, Campus recruitment activities; partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead(s) on the execution of hiring programs as required
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead(s) on requisition management and coordination of talent acquisition activities relating to Director level roles and roles out of scope for the onsite recruitment provider
  • Assist in coordinating pre-employment activities for Director level roles and roles out of scope for the onsite recruitment provider
  • Maintain up to date documentation relating to transaction and operational Talent Acquisition activities; provide proactive suggestions and implementation of processes improvements

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Commerce
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong skills in MS Office, with high preference for Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong problem solver with ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of initiative and demonstrated customer centricity
  • Ability to think critically and work in a fluid, changing environment
  • Dynamic team player and experience in working in a matrix environment
