Medtronic Rice Creek Campus, located in Fridley, Minnesota, is looking for a Technician II to perform mechanical and packaging testing of multiple Medtronic products in CRHF and across other business units.

The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, have the ability to multitask, and strive without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products.

A Day in the Life

The primary focus of this position will be electrical testing of CRHF and other division’s products.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects, including performing complex tests and providing updates to the broader teams and/or customers.
  • Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel for data collection and documenting processes.
  • Testing requires the use of multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generators…etc.
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and as an individual.
  • Ability to read and follow all processes related to testing.
  • Perform offsite testing which may occur overnight or weekends.
  • Work to identify, document, and improve known or potential issues in the lab.
  • Support internal and external audits.


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Requires basic job knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
Nice to Have
  • Valid Driver’s license with transportation required and with the ability to drive between local Medtronic facilities or off-site testing.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 17025, as well as working in a regulated environment.
  • Electrical testing experience in a laboratory setting.
