The Diabetes Group is working with the global community to change the way people manage diabetes. Together, we will transform diabetes care by expanding access, integrating care, and improving outcomes so people with diabetes can enjoy greater freedom and better health.

Under general supervision, candidate works independently on moderately complex verification testing assignments. Candidate will develop and validate test methods, both manual and automated. Candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure proper test coverage of design requirements.

A Day in the Life 

• Works closely with stakeholders to establish and support development and testing strategies for the product and system, including automated test systems
• Authors verification plans, protocols and reports for FDA submissions
• Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of verification testing 
• Works with others to share information, status, needs and issues in order to inform, gain input, and support decision-making
• Moderates test plan reviews, verification reviews, and participates in design reviews 

Must Have:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science-related discipline with 2+ years of work experience 
OR 
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Science-related discipline with 1+ year of work experience

Nice to Have 
• Experience in Medical Device/FDA Regulated Industry and compliance with IEC-60601
• Root Cause Investigations using a recognized process, such as DMAIC
• CAD experience
• Experience with developing automated test systems
